Healthy Summer Freezer Pops

Okay, I have to admit that I LOVED the frozen freezie pops when I was a kid. Give me all the artificial flavor, copious amounts of refined sugar, and electric colored, (might as well plug it into an outlet) artificial dyes. I still have fond memories of sitting on my grandparents porch in the heat of summer, sweating like crazy, but happily chewing on and sucking down these little plastic sticks of sunshine.

But now as a mom, I want my girls to enjoy the glorious satisfaction of cutting one of these gems open and making fond summer memories, but I’m waaayy more concerned about what’s found in these treats. So I decided to hunt down a couple of healthier, and still tasty options. Here’s what I found.

DeeBee’s Superfruit Organic Freezie Pops

The first is DeeBee’s Superfruit Organic Freezie Pops. I love these because they taste great, and they’re made with organic apple juice, organic white grape juice, organic blueberry puree, and organic pomegranate juice.

They DON’T contain peanuts, milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, wheat, soybeans, sesame seeds, corn, celery, lupin, mustard, or sulfites. They are also BPF free, gluten free, and vegan. So simple, and still so good!

You can find them at Costco, Amazon, Krogers, Safeway, Walmart, Sam’s Club, and possibly at your local grocery store. That’s where I found mine! Check them out HERE

Jonny Pops Organic Freezer Pops

The other option is Jonny Pops Organic Freezer Pops. The main ingredients are organic apple juice, organic fruit and vegetable juice for color, organic stevia extract, and natural cherry, orange, and pineapple flavor. There are some added sugars in this one (unlike the DeeBee’s brand) but at least there aren’t any artificial dyes like Red 40, for example.

I also found these at my local grocery store, but you can always go directly to their website HERE

Summer should still be fun, and it can be with these healthier options!
