about

I’m a girl from the Midwest who loves Jesus, her family, and singing 80’s songs in my kitchen. I believe every day is a gift, and even in the valleys of life, beautiful fruit can grow.

But wait, there’s more!

From every wound, there is scar, and every scar tells a story. A story that says I survived.

Hey! I'M THRILLED you ARE HERE! LET ME introduce MYSELF.

meet Jamie

In 2007, I was blessed to marry the love of my life, Andrew, and we have two wonderful daughters that keep our household hopping! We laugh a lot, play multiple rounds of cribbage, treat ourselves to root beer floats, and love to travel together.

Over the years, I have enjoyed a diverse background of life experiences in many areas. At a young age I developed a love of dance which led me into a professional career. I was a backup dancer for a contemporary Christian artist, and then lived in New York City, studying on scholarship, and continuing to perform. I survived on pizza, bagels, Ben and Jerry’s ice cream, and money I made as a shoe model. After my time in NYC, I moved all over the country and found myself working in the fashion industry, then teaching second grade, followed by working as an account manager in the marketing field. I’m also passionate about healthy, clean living and am always conscious about decreasing my family’s toxic load.

Last but certainly not least, I’m a breast cancer survivor and one of the many women inducted into this “sorority” none of us asked to be in. It was a difficult time, but many blessings came from it. I believe that God uses all of the chapters of our life to create beautiful stories, and I’m excited to share many of mine with you!
